ANOTHER WARNING! If you remember, I put out a warning a little while ago about another, much larger and older woman being in the changing room at M&S with me. I now have another WARNING! BROAD BEANS CAN FEEL PAIN!! I was cooking my lunch today (well, actually, ‘cooking’ may be a rather overstated way of putting it…) and put some broad beans into the microwave in a little pot – when I removed them, I could hear little squeals from them! It was quite worrying until I realised it was just steam escaping from underneath the outer skin (hmm, that sounds even more unpleasant!). I may stick to peas from now on – I’ve never heard those squeal! Thought for the day – be kind to your vegetables from now on.
